LAWRENCE, Kan. – Missing one of its usual top five runners, No. 4 men's cross country was topped by No. 3 Aquinas and No. 8 Lewis-Clark State and finished third overall at the NAIA Preview Meet which was run on the same course that will host the NAIA Championships. The Bears proved they could run with the top teams as they had three runners finish before every time but did not have the depth with one of the usual top five finishers out of the race. The Gallaudet University men's and women's cross country teams made the short trip Saturday to Frederick County to compete at the sixth annual Hood College Open at Utica Park where the Bison women's team finished ninth overall while the men's team finished 12th.Read the full article at: www.ssubears.com
